Roll Ups Pilates is a contemporary Pilates studio in Portland, Oregon, specializing in
both mat and reformer classes. Our goal is to inspire movement that transforms the way
you think about and align your body. In every class, you'll discover new ways to move, connect, and feel stronger.

Founded by Elizabeth Sylvain, Roll Ups pilates brings a fresh, fun approach to pilates. Elizabeth discovered pilates after moving to New York City to pursue a career in advertising. Originally from Park City, Utah, she was a competitive freestyle mogul skier who later became an accredited coach. This background taught her the importance of technique and body awareness—skills that translated perfectly into Pilates. As she deepened her practice, Elizabeth quickly saw how skiing and Pilates shared common values of precision and mindful movement. Elizabeth trained under Heather Anderson at New York Pilates, completing a 350-hour teacher training program that is internationally accredited by The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), The Athletics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and The International Sports Science Academy (ISSA). With her experience and passion for both skiing and Pilates, Elizabeth’s approach to movement emphasizes fun, challenge, and growth—helping you feel empowered while achieving your fitness goals.
